My 15 Most Memorable Tour Experiences - Batch 2000

Here are my 15 most memorable memories from the UP Concert Chorus 2000 Millennium Tour.

1. Honolulu HI – Easter mass at the Sunrise Bowl. (tama ba?) with matching ngatog to the bones sa sobrang lamig. We wore the mestiza costume.

2. Seattle WA – after the concert, Tita Cindy said, “I’m so proud of you guys! Ang dami kong kuha sa inyo.” Pinanood namin yung video. Hahahaha!!!

3. Union City CA – cuddly bears Justin and Brian. Brian the silent one and Justin the very talkative one who, at 8 years old, didn’t want us to know that he was still drinking milk from the “bottle”. Hahaha! Hi Justin! He’s a high school senior now.

Thank God! Pero nakita ko rin sila eventually. Prior to that, kumain kami ng bonggang bongga sa Ceasar’s Palace c/o Mon’s cousin.

5. Huntsville AL – Roommates Tara, Bebem and Raisa. Naiwan kami sa bahay at tumawag si Tito, just checking. Sabi nya “Hayaan nyo, mamaya dadating si Dolly.” Me: “Ha?! Sinong Dolly?” Tito: “Eh di ang Tita nyo.” Ah…..

6. London (England) – who would forget the overnight at the Victoria bus station? Mga busabos!

7. Gambach, Germany – the hills are alive! Bike and bike and bike. Si Abi, dakilang angkas dahil di marunong.

8. Milton Keynes (England) – Kumakain si Abi ng potato chips. Nakikain ako.
Host: “Oh, would you like some crisps?”
Me: “No, no.” (with a blank face dahil di ko naman talaga alam kung ano ang tinatanggihan ko at kuha pa rin ako ng kuha ng chips ni Abi.
Host: “I mean, would you like some of those?”.
Me: “Ah…okay…yes, yes.”

9. Aberdeen, Scotland – but of course….kailangan pa bang sabihin. Wala akong sasabihin. Nakakamiss si Celio.

11. Bergen, Norway – aside from super ganda? Hahahaha…disco time before dinner at our host’s house with my solo of “Like A Virgin”.

12. Stuttgart (Germany) – Ang host namin nina Abi, Nemie at Liz ay may mini grocery of Asian goodies. Nakita ni Abi ang Lucky Me instant pancit canton. Habang namamasyal napag-usapan ang pagkain.
Abi: “Tita, luto tayo mamaya ng pancit canton.”
Host: “Aba, sure, sure. Who will cook?”

13. Houston TX - our host brother said he will say good night because he is going to work early the next morning and we will probably still be asleep and we will leave for the next stop then. He gave each one a hug and a kiss. He was too tall for me so when i reached up, i ended up kissing his neck! Hahaha!

14. Barcelona (Spain) – The making of the “Isang Tulog Na Lang” video at Mt. Montserrat, starring I Love UPCC AHA and Kuya Germs.

15. Bus Ride – Quotable quote “Last bus ride na!
